NOBODIES MURAL

This past Saturday Dan Judge, Dan Hughes and I put our mural together for the Nobodies show. Here's a few of the "in progress" pics. You'll have to come out to see it in it's true glory. Just to reiterate the opening is THIS SATURDAY the 17th. Be there.

PRAYER OF THE SEA BISHOP

This Friday the Anthony Pedro curated "All hands on Deck" show opens at the Chapterhouse. My submission (above) depicts the creature known as the Sea Bishop, said to have been presented to the King of Poland in the 16th century. Upon being released by some clergy members this slimy beauty flashed the sign of the cross and hightailed it back into the ocean.  The legend alone was enough to inspire me but it doesn't hurt that the thing looks like something out of Planet of the Apes crossed with a Japanese movie monster. The opening runs from 7-10 and I'll have some of these prints in the Etsy store at some point as well.

Clear your calendar for July 17th. Dan Judge, Daniel Hughes and I will be sharing wall space at Masthead Print Studio. Thanks to Shawn for putting this all together, the opening should be an awesome time. On top of all the work going into the show I've been putting the finishing touches on the reissue of the Wonder Years Upsides record and have some posters slated for Dan Sartain and Fest in New Zealand. As much as I like being busy I can't wait for vacation. See you in two weeks.
